About

Hi, my name is David Noël. I'm an entrepreneurial tech/web/marketing/social media guy excited about music, remarkable people & ideas. I love airplanes and freckles.

I was born and raised in Belgium, moved to Germany in 2000, lived in Cologne, Munich and now in Berlin.

I'd love to fly in a chopper sometime.

I'm on Twitter, Facebook, Last.fm, Dopplr, Hype Machine and Flickr

Echolot is the German word for sonar.

We just rolled out an update of the Audiotool. As promised, the legendary Roland TR808 (pictured above) is now available along with two new stompboxes (Compressor and Crusher). We also enhanced some functions in the toolbar by adding a zoom, undo/redo and a button to lock the setting of your devices.
The feature that most of you have been waiting and asking for is still in the works. It is among the highest priorities of our dev team to deploy the “Save as” feature at the next update that is scheduled for this summer. André emailed me saying: “You guys better don’t disturb us so that we can get this thing rolled out as soon as possible.” Word.
I believe that from this day on, the Hobnox Audiotool will become what we wanted: A revolutionary music production suite. Why revolutionary you might ask? Well, it’s all in the browser. And it’s in Flash. And it’s pretty damn cool.
